Become a Pilot Partner

Help Grow the Next Generation of Water-Cleansing Landscapes
Phytoflora installations are more than floating gardens — they’re living laboratories where beauty meets function. Each project helps refine how we clean water, support wildlife, and grow vibrant, marketable plants that connect people to their local ecosystems.
We’re currently inviting municipalities, community organizations, schools, and private property owners to join us as Pilot Partners. Together, we’ll design and install customized floating flower systems that demonstrate how nature-based innovation can thrive right here in South Florida.
Why Participate in a Pilot?
As a Pilot Partner, you’ll be among the first to bring this new approach to your waterway or pond — gaining both environmental and educational value:
●Improve local water quality through plant-based nutrient removal
● Enhance habitat and aesthetics with flowering plants that attract pollinators and wildlife
●Contribute to ongoing research that measures ecological and economic outcomes
●Engage your community in hands-on environmental stewardship
●Be recognized as a regional leader advancing the bioeconomy through nature-based innovation

How Pilot Projects Work
Each site is unique, and we tailor every design to fit local conditions, goals, and maintenance capacity.
Pilot installations are collaborative, cost-shared projects supported through Green Thumb Strategies LLC and our nonprofit partner, Green Thumbs for Healthy Bodies.
Together, we combine applied research, volunteer engagement, and creative design to ensure each project is both scientifically valuable and community-driven.
Depending on project size and funding structure:
● Partners typically contribute toward materials and installation.
● Our team provides design, technical support, and monitoring.
● Additional cost-share or educational support may be available through our nonprofit programs or aligned grants.
